They had a large wedding party, and, as unique as it sounds, they were all friends. Nick&#8217;s best man pointed out that they were not a group comprised of high school friends, college friends, his friends, her friends, but they were all friends and have been for a long time. It seemed to make the day even sweeter to have such a lively group with a lot of history together.<\/p>\n<p>Kelsey&#8217;s dress was custom made at <a title=\"Dornink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dornink.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dornink<\/a> in Des Moines&#8217; East Village, and their invitation suite was created at <a title=\"Ephemera\" href=\"http:\/\/ephemeradesign.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ephemera<\/a>, another East Village boutique. Kelsey and her mom spent a lot of time scouring flea markets looking for the orange vintage vases scattered throughout the reception. We love all the ways they made their day unique and special, and we especially love how they relied on so many local vendors.<\/p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone
