Our Story
Born 3,855 miles apart, a boy from Cork and a girl from Des Moines, unexpectedly fell in love in London. After a few months of LOOONG distance dating, James and Olivia knew this was the love for them. They spent time in each other’s home countries and got to know more and more about each other.
That being said, it’s all fun and games until Border Control gets involved :) Little did James and Olivia know, 90 days was the maximum amount of time the United Kingdom would allow them to be together in one calendar year. So, on December 8, 2017, James and Olivia said “I do” in front of the Honorable Judge Bob at the Polk County Courthouse in Des Moines, Iowa.
As lovely as it was, it wouldn’t be complete without our family and friends present to celebrate the love we have for one another. With that in mind, please join us in celebrating our union once again on July, 6 2019 at the Maryborough Hotel & Spa in Cork, Ireland.

There are 25 rooms pre-booked for the wedding. However, there are more than enough rooms in the hotel to accommodate everyone. Please mention our names when reserving your rooms so the hotel can keep track.
There are several other reputable hotels and BnB’s near and around the venue, as well as in Cork City center, should you prefer to stay somewhere else. Almost everything in Cork can be accessed within a 20-25 minute drive maximum.
